Cyber Shorts Film Festival Announces Schedule and Official Selections

The Cyber Shorts Film Festival has announced its schedule and official movie selections. Among those selections are Jesse Pino’s “Not Your Bible” directed by Georgia Harter and Sonia Barcelona’s “Violent Water” Directed by Danny Chandia.

Cyber Shorts: A VR Film Festival is one of the first film festivals ever to be conceived of specifically for and hosted on a Virtual Reality platform. Festival Directors Darryl A. Armstrong and Shahab Zargari developed the idea to launch a film festival using Microsoft’s AltspaceVR platform after hosting a successful event on it for author Matt Ruff (Lovecraft Country, 88 Names).

The festival will be held on Saturday, June 6 from 11:30am-3:00pm Pacific time on the AltspaceVR platform and will include two hours of films along with a Q&A session with filmmakers.

NOTE: You do not need a VR headset to join the screening. All you would need is to download and boot up the AltSpace VR app on PC to access 2D mode.
