6th Annual Style With A Cause To Benefit CASA
Founded in 2012 by fashion stylist Jenna Doughton, ‘Style With A Cause’ was formed for a way for women to come together and celebrate each other.
“So much about fashion focuses on our shortcoming and inadequacies. I want to create a forum where we can lift each other up and celebrate what is unique and beautiful about each and every one of us, no matter what exterior packaging we come in. My hope is that style with a cause becomes a nationally recognized event that creates a synergy between everyday women, designers, corporations and foundations to all come together to change the conversation to a more positive, empowering, inspiring place for women.” said Jenna Doughton.
Since the inception of style with a cause, Jenna Doughton was chosen as a winner for Donna Karan’s “Women Who Inspire” and has had George Kotsiopoulos from E!’s Fashion Police and Carlos Casanova and Joshua J. Christensen from Project Runway and Project Runway Allstars partner with Style For A Cause events.
The mission of the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Program is to support and promote court-appointed volunteer advocacy for abused and neglected children so that they can thrive in safe, permanent homes. CASA volunteers are men and women who are dedicated to the vital role of advocating on behalf of abused or neglected children. The children served by CASA volunteers range in age from birth to 18. Were it not for the voice of a CASA volunteer, the child’s voice might not be heard.
