AIGA Las Vegas and LVPO 3rd Annual LUSH Art Exhibition
AIGA Las Vegas in cooperation with The Las Vegas Poets Organization and VIM Magazine presented the 3rd Annual Lush Exhibition at Oasis Community. The art gallery is curated by Oasis Dispensary Art Director Shannon Dorn.
The exhibition featured work from prominent local poets and graphic designers. The exhibition will be open from 7 to 9pm on April 6th, First Friday.
Participating poets included Tree Hill, Elizabeth Quinoñes-Zaldaña, Krystle “Kismet” Wilson, Autumn Widdoes, Timea Sipos, Elee Oak, Noel Glez, Robyn Banez, Reese Darko, and Andrew Romanelli.
This was the poetry organization’s second foray as they partner together with AIGA for its second year.
This year the exhibition has been expanded to a whole month and will span the length of National Poetry Month. It featured entries from previous years as well as this year’s designs.
A closing reception is scheduled for Friday, April 27, 7pm at Oasis Community located at Downtown Spaces.
Prints will be available for sale at the closing reception. Proceeds to benefit both nonprofit organizations.
An open call for poetry will be announced later in April 2018 for Las Vegas Poets Organization 2018-2019 season of programming.
Both nonprofit organizations are already looking for sponsors and planning for next years art exhibition set for April 2019.
